Wasp nests can be more than a buzzing nuisance in your attic, they can be dangerous too. If a member of your family is allergic to the sting, they can go into anaphylactic shock, and in rare cases die.
They emerge from hibernation between early-April and June. The Queen start starts laying eggs by the hundred after a few weeks, so the numbers of wasps can start to grow very quickly.
They Start Small...
Wasp nests start small, but left untreated they can get a whole lot larger. Prompt action is needed before your new houseguests get too comfy...
The nests can grow to four or five feet in height, if left unattended.
Even in the early winter when the temperature drops, wasps can still be agressive and sting, even though they are a lot more sluggish.
